Alumni Achievement Awards
Alumni Achievement Awards are
presented each year to Augustana alumni who have made outstanding
contributions to their fields of endeavor, their communities, and/or
their churches.
The recipients must be graduates of Augustana College, excel in
their careers, and exemplify the values of the College: the Christian
faith, the liberal arts, excellence, community and service. Normally,
four alumni will be selected each year for this award. Awards are
presented during Viking Days weekend.
The Horizon Award is given to recognize young alumni
who have quickly demonstrated outstanding vocational achievement, and
have provided faithful service to their community and/or church.
The recipients must have graduated from Augustana within the last 15
years, excel in their careers, and exemplify the values of the College:
the Christian faith, the liberal arts, excellence, community and
service. Normally, one person will be selected to receive this award
which is presented during Viking Days weekend.
Nominations will be received by the Award Committee up until April 1 of each year for the awards which will be given that fall. Submit a nomination.
