Alumni Achievement Awards

Alumni Achievement Awards are presented each year to Augustana alumni who have made outstanding contributions to their fields of endeavor, their communities, and/or their churches.

The recipients must be graduates of Augustana, excel in their careers, and exemplify one of the values of the University: Christian Faith, Liberal Arts, Excellence, Community or Service. Normally, four alumni will be selected each year for this award.

The Horizon Award is given to recognize young alumni who have quickly demonstrated outstanding vocational achievement, and have provided faithful service to their community and/or church. The recipients must have graduated from Augustana within the last 15 years, excel in their careers, and exemplify one of the values of the University: Christian Faith, Liberal Arts, Excellence, Community or Service. Normally, one person will be selected each year to receive this award.

Deadline for Viking Days 2017:
April 1, 2017

Nominations will be received by the Award Committee up until April 1 of each year for the awards that will be given that fall during Viking Days weekend.
