Katie taught chemistry, physics, and physical science at Bolivar High School during the 5 years they were there. And last but not least, they are expecting their first child in November 2017.

Janis (Hickman) Schumacher, 66, of Fairmount, North Dakota, passed away on May 21, 2017, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. She was married to Bruce in 1973 and they had four children. She taught school from 1999 until complications from cancer forced her to retire in 2016. She is survived by her husband, four children and ten grandchildren.
Hazel (Paulson) Poverud, 98, of Flandreau, South Dakota, passed away on May 19, 2017 at Riverview Healthcare Community. She married Eivend in 1947 and they were blessed with one daughter. She worked as a bookkeeper until retiring in 1980.

Joyce (Feay) Jensen, 88, passed away on May 23, 2017 at Bethesda of Beresford. She was married to Ervin Jensen in 1951 and raised four children. She had sixteen grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Paul Eikanger, 77, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2017, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. He married Judy Peterson in 1967 and they raised two children. He had four granddaughters.
Delores (Wheeldon) Zenner died Jan. 11, 2017 in Danville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband Dwane Zenner, and is survived by three daughters, one son, 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
