Thursday, May 23

President's Social: A Reception for Seniors and Faculty
4-6 p.m., Fellows' Presidential Residence, 2817 S. Grange Ave.
To honor the Class of 2013, President Rob and Angie Oliver invite graduating seniors and faculty to a reception at the Fellows' Presidential Residence. The festivities will include food and beverages and an opportunity to celebrate with good friends and great professors. RSVP by Monday, May 13.

  • Commencement Rehearsal
    10 a.m., Elmen Center
    Rehearsal attendance is required. All candidates for graduation must either be present or have a stand-in for rehearsal.
  • Reception for Civitas Graduates
    1 p.m., Center for Western Studies
    The Civitas Honors Program serves as reception host for its first graduates, their families, and their friends. Refreshments will be served.
  • Nurse Pinning Ceremony
    4 p.m., Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 909 W. 33rd Street
    Reception to follow.
  • Senior Celebration 2013
    6:30 p.m., Ramkota Convention Center
    Join us for this event celebrating the culmination of the Class of 2013's Augustana experience. Featuring dinner, entertainment, and The Last Lecture (presented by Augustana Student Association Faculty Award Winner), this special evening offers students, parents, faculty, and staff the opportunity to gather and celebrate the legacy of the class together. Tickets are $15 for seniors, $30 for guests and are available until Monday, May 13.

  • Baccalaureate
    10 a.m., Elmen Center
    A festive worship service accompanied by The Augustana Band and The Augustana Choir. Graduates should arrive by 9:15 a.m. to robe and line up. Caps and gowns should be worn. No tickets are required.
  • Brunch
    11 a.m., Ordal Dining Room, Morrison Commons
    Cost is $10 adults / $6 children (12 & under). Tickets are required.
